Hi all. The 2022 jam camp is coming coming up in about four weeks: August 19-21. We have three great instructors coming: Phill West on guitar, Clint Pelletier on guitar and Cam Neufeld on violin. Please confirm your registration (send $30 to cover basic costs) soon so we have an idea how many to expect. People have suggested that a catered dinner or pot luck dinner be organized for Saturday night. Once I get a few more registrations I’ll send out a survey. We’ll need some advance notice to organize that.

I visited the acreage Thursday last week and it looks great. There is a lot of grassy space for tents and trailers and to spread out and jam. There is some open space for sun and lots of trees for shade. We figure we’ll set up three gazebos for jamming and workshops. We can designate them for beginner/advanced or Django/swing/western swing as needed. We will work on a map of the location and post it soon! There is lots of firewood on hand, but propane fire rings might also be handy because they are more portable.
